Paul "The Chief" Harragon

THE CHIEF

Paul Harragon, born Saturday, October 12, 1968, raised in Kurri Kurri, Newcastle. The Chief is a living giant, weighing in at 111 kg and standing at 193 cm. Making his first grade debut in 1989 against the Balmain Tigers, he looked to be a very promising prop-forward talent which he proved to be. Harragon went on to Country, NSW and Australian teams. He also captained teams at all these levels and captained the Mighty Knights to a glorious Grand Final victory in 1997. Harragon played in 169 first grade games in his ten year career with the Knights and in 1999 decided to call it quits, ending one of the best eras in the Hunter Valley game.
